At the end of the term, you sit an exam (University Diploma in French Studies) to confirm your knowledge. If you pass, it means you have a certified level in French, and can move on to a higher level and, in some cases, go on to study at Blaise Pascal University.
Blaise Pascal University is located in Auvergne in the centre of France.
Classes are held in the Languages and Multimedia Centre in Clermont-Ferrand (34, Avenue Carnot, 63 000 Clermont-Ferrand - France).
Depending on your circumstances, you will also have to pay French social security contributions.
The pre-enrolment process is just for students enrolling for the first time. This must be completed in order to get the long-stay D Visa for students.
The application form for Term 1 of 2016-2017 is available from 15 February to 17 June 2016. The application must be returned before 20 June 2015 either by post (to CLM / Centre FLEURA - 34, avenue Carnot BP 185 - 63006 Clermont-Ferrand cedex 1) or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can track the progress of your application on the web portal. After the Blaise Pascal University has received and accepted your application, you can download the certificates you need for the long-stay D visa for students (non-European students only). These certificates will allow you to enrol firmly once you have arrived in France.
